Madden NFL 11 Roster Update Packs Over 500 Changes

Those of you hoping to enjoy up-to-date rosters in Madden NFL 11 will want to boot-up and snag the game's first roster update, which packs in over 500 changes. The roster updates are free provided you have an Online Pass, which is included in new copies of the game and available for $10 if purchased used.

The changes include releasing players from teams following post-season cuts, adding new players, changing stats and depth charts, and benching troublemakers like Ben Roethlisberger.

A full list of the changes can be found here. Furthermore, a week 2 update is forthcoming, which will incorporate changes based on the real world performance of players last weekend.

How did your team do? My Steelers managed to pull out a victory in a very rough game. I'm glad Isaac Redman has been added to Madden NFL 11 and Dennis Dixon has been made the starting QB for the time being.

Here's an idea...how about partnering with one of the big fantasy leagues (CBS or FOX or whatever) and INTEGRATE THE FANTASY EXPERIENCE INTO THE GAME. WTF. Integrate the draft. Integrate the live scoring. Make it so leagues can play one another with their fantasy teams. Make it so there are pins, medals, achievements to be earned. In my own CBS Fantasy league I have it so folks win pins every week, with 4 of the same type (most QB points in a week, most Team D Sacks etc) and you win an Achievement (like the Piledriver for Sacks), win all the offensive achievements and win the Offensive Medal, same for D. Every game, every play means you can work towards your pins and achievements (and earn prizes). But, I have to do that by hand because CBS does not allow that stuff automatically (YOU HEAR ME CBS FANTASY!!). Integrate that into your GD GAME MADDEN!! Enough with the stupid play calling or other BS you call 'innovation' every year. Who runs that franchise? Go ahead, take my ideas for free, I don't fucking care just do something that merges fantasy and your product.
