A teaser trailer featuring the multiplayer component of Call of Duty: Black Ops showcases a few additions to the franchise's popular online experience.

Taking a page out of Halo 3's feature notebook, Treyarch appears to be including a video recording and editing component to Black Ops. At the end of the trailer, a quick clip features a dock of replay options before moving onto menu options that point to the ability to create and save clips of your favorite kills.

The video also features a "ballistic" knife weapon, able to fire blades at enemies as well as an RC car outfitted with an explosive device, used to sneak up on unsuspecting adversaries. According to the trailer, a "full multiplayer reveal" is scheduled in some form on September 1, 2010.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is scheduled to release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 9, 2010, alongside a "companion" Nintendo DS title from developer n-Space.

Looks like the standard Call of Duty model now. Crazy over the top action with focus shifted away from the overall map and team onto the individual.

Is that a bad thing? Nah, it's just starting to get a bit stale. Until BF3 though... not much else.

I wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed.

Brink already got delayed; its original release period was Spring 2010. Though if we do hear of another delay, it might be at or shortly after QuakeCon, which starts in 3 days.

We'll see what it looks like at QC, but I expect Brink to meet their current release window after 2 delays.

      Play BC2 then, I think its better than MW2 anyway : )

I wouldn't be anticipating on BF3 being good, it will be on consoles to. So it will most likely be ported to PC, so in the end it will be terrible.

While I miss Battlefield 2's huge levels, I am getting tired of all the hating on BF:BC and BC2. They are good games in their own right, and the building destruction did add an extra layer (however thin) of strategy, allowing players to destroy that little sniper bitch's nest and make him move to somewhere more, accessable. Or, to air strike that building that an enemy squad has set up camp in. It was a very fun game, despite the lag, and despite the lack of dedicated servers. I have no doubt that Battlefield 3, or whatever the final name ends up being, will be a good game.

And so I don't look like I ranted off topic, this does seem very similar to MW2, perhaps even using the same exact engine. I am getting tired of these COD games, they need to either move on to the future (like they should already have, modern warfare is getting stale), or quit the franchise.

        THIS IS GETTING OLD KOTIK!

Yep, another shoebox-shooter. Nothing innovative here... engine wise.
