replyGratuitous Space Battles is a very unique twist on the strategy genre. It can be a bit difficult and overwhelming at the beginning, but as you learn the mechanics I think you'll really enjoy it.
I loved making it harder and refining and tweaking my fleet until I won. Lots of fun progression in unlocking new ship parts, races, and hulls. I bought it for $20 and do not regret it. Absolute steal at $4.99.
