During a taping of The Engadget Show, Microsoft's Peter Molyneux revealed that Fable 3 will not ship with any Kinect functionality. Although, since nearly the announcement of the new hardware, Microsoft representatives had stated that the motion-sensing camera would have a role in the upcoming sequel, Molyneux told Joystiq that the content Lionhead planned to create for the peripheral wasn't up to snuff.
Speaking with Joystiq, Molyneux claims some form of Kinect-enabled content may be available following the launch of Fable 3.
Fable 3 launches on the Xbox 360 on October 26. A PC version is planned but has not been dated.
