Spec Ops: The Line Xbox 360-exclusive Multiplayer Beta Registration Opens

2
Another multiplayer beta is on its way to the Xbox 360, this time for the sand-covered shooter Spec Ops: The Line.

Registration is now open on the official Spec Ops: The Line website, but comes with a few caveats. The closed-beta will only be available on the Xbox 360 (for Gold members), the number of participants will be limited and all selected users must "sign" a non-disclosure agreement.

According to the "thank you for signing up" page, 2K Games will roll out more invites over time, beginning the closed-beta with a "small number of players" before "ramping up to full size."

Spec Ops: The Line is coming to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC from Yager Development and is scheduled to hit stores sometime in 2011.

I would disagree. While WW2 games are very much bound by real life historical events, these sorts of games typical have a lot of creative legroom. I mean, for example, there is alot more similarity in terms of the weapons in WW2 games. Modern day shooters have alot more variety because of all the military hardware they can choose from. They can have various weapon attachments or even chose to bring in some stuff that is still experimental (like frontlines.)
