Developed by Firaxis and published by 2K Games, Civilization V will be released for PC in North America on September 21 before arriving elsewhere on September 24.

        Civ IV came out like 4-5 years ago. I'm not exactly sure this is rushing it.

          Don't forget they had two major expansions Warlord and Beyond the Sword and a spinoff Colonization.

            Now is the time for a new Civilization game.

            There was a two year gap between the last Civ3 EXP and Civ4
            Civilization V will come 3 years after the last major Civ4 expansion BtS

              I agree with you there, was just pointing out this game had a lot of additions to keep it fresh. Definitely looking forward to the game.
