As if that weren't exciting enough, Epic has announced that rapper-turned-actor Ice T--best known for his performances in 'Tank Girl' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit'--will be joining rapper 'Drake' in lending his voice to a Gears of War 3 character.

"I've been a huge fan of Ice my whole life, and it turns out he's a big fan of Gears," said Epic Games design director Cliff Bleszinski in the announcement. "His legendary tough-as-nails, street-smart persona fits perfectly with Griffin."

Gears of War 3 is heading exclusively to Xbox 360 on April 5, 2011, in North America.
