The game, set in a "stylized, modern-Western setting... tells a classic betrayal story directed through a sophisticated cinematic lens, with addictive action gameplay found in classic 2D side-scrolling games." The story is being written by Marianne Krawczyk, who wrote the God of War games.
Shank is a digital title for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox Live Arcade set for a summer release. It will be published through the Electronic Arts Partners program.
