SEGA Genesis 'Classics' Arrive on PC
As promised, the first round of SEGA's "evergreen" retro re-releases have begun making their way to PC by way of digital distribution outlets like Steam and GamesGate.
In all, eleven "classics"--some more deserving of that label than others--are out thus far:
- Altered Beast - $2.99
- Comix Zone - $2.99
- Crack Down - $2.99
- Ecco the Dolphin - $2.99
- Gain Ground - $2.99
- Golden Axe - $2.99
- Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi - $2.99
- Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master - $2.99
- Sonic 3D Blast - $4.99
- Space Harrier II - $2.99
- Vectorman - $2.99

replyWhat I don't get is the Classic Pack which includes all 11 games. There is absolutely no savings, what kind of pack is that. Make it $19.99 for all of them and maybe people would actually buy it.

Not only that, but 360 and PS3 owners can get a 40-plus-game collection for around $20. I don't understand why Sega didn't port that collection to the PC and sell it as a bundle. They've been doing this for years now: release classics individually, then release them as a bundle, then release them individually again, then release another bundle...

No crap, also add some kind of achievements and maybe some interviews with designers and retro memorabilia. There doesnt seem to be any care put into this which is unfortunant because im a huge Sega fan.
