Killzone 3 Officially Announced, First Images Emerge

Following through on the recent confirmation of Killzone 3, publisher Sony Computer Entertainment has officially announced the PlayStation 3 shooter sequel via the PlayStation.Blog as well as provided several images from the game.

The game will indeed be playable in stereoscopic 3D upon its release. Still no confirmation as to when that release will be, though it's rumored for this year.

  Still not as good as the material released beforehand for the second one, if I remember correctly. (Could be that my mind is playing games though). But that video that was claimed to show the graphics quality looked way better than the actual game, and also better than this. Again, might be wrong.

    I dont care about that. It looked good and i had fun playing it. Thats all that matters.

    This series is always going to have the shadow of that oversold, pre-rendered E3 video hanging over it.
