Crysis 2 Screenshots Go In-Game

Developer Crytek has released what it says are the "first official in-game screenshots" of Crysis 2, offering a glimpse of aliens, destruction and a "pre-alpha in-game HUD."

The anticipated alien shooter sequel is expcted to hit PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime between October 1 and December 31, 2010. Thanks taczbr.

I hope that you actually get to use the good guns throughout the game. I was kinda annoyed that I ended up using an AK-47 for most of the game with a few spots of the sniper rifle. The limited amount of ammo for the good weapons really made me feel like I was being controlled by the developers and not by my imagination.

    It was! But I actually liked the SCAR better. both rifles were the most modifiable in the game.

  If you truly want to enjoy Crysis, play it on the hardest difficulty level, and use only your suit as your primary weapon.
  
  I love sneaking up on enemies in stealth mode, changing to power mode, punching them, turning back to stealth mode and sneaking away before anyone knows what happened.

  glad I wasn't the only one who was bothered by the fact SCAR ammo was so rare.
  
  also, no fucking alien floating levels this time, for the love of god!
