Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow Coming to PS2

Two-and-a-half years after Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow hit PSP in October 2007, a PlayStation 2 edition of the stealth-action shooter is headed to retail on June 1, 2010. Sony Bend, which developed both versions, notes that it "made some important tweaks to the controller," including "a snap button to make getting in and out of cover easier" plus the addition of "'swing out and aim' to L1 to make fighting from combat more intuitive" and word that it has "completely re-tuned the game for the extra analog stick."

As for the visuals, Sony Bend says that the PlayStation 2 edition features "up-rezed textures and effects to take advantage of the unique features of the PS2 hardware."

I know; everyone who doesn't still have a PS2 or an original PS3 with BC hardware won't be able to play it. I anticipate a number of returns at Best Buy because "it wouldn't play on my PS3".

Yea I agree, why not spend the 2 and a half years porting it to ps3, where it would probably sell better on psn.
