I find it interesting that it still appears to be picking up steam. Makes me wonder what would've happened had they not been early to the market though.

Probably this. I bought my first 360 in Sept 2006 and I just purchased my third this weekend due to two RROD's. I am just really thankful that I bought the first one at Costco... both times I had issues they gave me a FULL refund on a gift card for the original price so I could buy a new one. Anyhow, the point is that I bet I count for three of those 40 million and I'm certain that plenty of other owners count for multiple purchases as well.

I've purchased a total of five 360s. My first RROD'ed on me. I later gave it to a friend. A second 360 I bought for my nephew. It has never RRODed, I think it's a falcon but I'm not sure, could be a Jasper. The three 360s that I still have in my home have never RROD'ed, one is a falcon, the other two are Jaspers. They all three get use, by myself and friends who come over and game. You guys never do that with your consoles? What's wrong with you dudes.
