First Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 DLC Hits PC, PlayStation 3 in Early May

12
After roughly a month of Xbox 360 exclusivity, the five multiplayer maps of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Stimulus Package--its first downloadable content pack--will be available to PC owners worldwide come May 4, publisher Activision has announced. As for PlayStation 3, MW2 owners in North America get the multiplayer add-on the same day. Meanwhile, those in Australia and the European Union need to wait until May 5.

No word yet as to if the PC and PlayStation 3 DLC will carry the $15 price point of the Xbox 360 release, though given the pack's sales success, it seems likely. Developer Infinity Ward is currently working on a second add-on for the game, which will again premiere first on Xbox 360 before eventually making its way to the other platforms.

It's been what almost 5 months that weve argued, whined, complained, and done whatever we could to convince IW to do so much as take a glance in the direction of fixing this game and still nothing, so dont expect anything.

Agreed, just move on, I did. BC2, TF2, even going back to COD4. There's tons of options out there.

It is overblown, but they are definitely there and IW has't done anything about them or other glitches in the game.

With how weak their support of the game has been (especially crazy given how successful it is, I mean, really guys?), the price is basically a secondary reason as to why I'm not considering getting the pack at all.

IW has issued patches for glitches very quickly and balance issues less quickly for MW2 fine. Hackers pop up and eventually get banned thanks to VAC. Not sure what your issue is.

eventually = never --- VAC cannot detect 'content hacks' meaning without an admin these people are free to hack away ...

VAC is useless for MW2. The hacker disable VAC easily every single time. VAC can't ban when it isn't even running on the hackers machine!

Out of maybe 10 matches...probably encountered 4-5 obvious aim-bots. Definitely not overblown.
