David left Sony almost a year ago after working up through the ranks of management all the way to CEO. Reeves served as SCEE senior vice president of sales and marketing during the launch of the PlayStation 2.

"I established a close working relationship with Capcom during my time at Sony and have always admired its commitment to push boundaries and develop innovative titles," said Reeves in a press release. "It is therefore a real pleasure to now join this organisation and be a part of its future successes."

David will oversee "all aspects of the European operation with the remit to maximise potential revenue and explore new areas for growth throughout the region."
