Shack PSA: Mass Effect 2 $20 Off at Amazon

14
BioWare's sci-fi shooter-RPG Mass Effect 2 is today's "Amazon.com Video Games Deal of the Day," with the online retailer knocking roughly a third off the game's asking price.

The Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 2 can be had for $39.49 (34% off the usual asking price of $59.99) while Mass Effect 2 PC is $29.49 (41% off the $49.99 list price) and Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition PC is $37.99 (37% off the usual $59.99).

As implied by the part where these discounts are "Amazon.com Video Games Deal of the Day," they're only valid for the day and only while supplies last, so act fast.

Same here, awaiting ME2 to go on sale. So far has been on sale on just about every other service but Steam. Very disappointing.

I hope it goes on Steam sale soon, and also that it will be off as much as here.

$29.99 would be an insta buy for that game on steam for me.

yeah, me too ultimately... although i'm sorely tempted by this.

I wish the physical version could be steam associated, like it is with Valve games, Modern Warfare 2, Dawn of War 2, Empire Total War, Napoleon Total War etc.

It's worth the full price. A lot went in to making this game.

Albeit it's well worth its full fledged price but unfortunately not everyone can or wants to throw down that kind of money for various reasons, so we all wait for sales to fulfill our wet dreams of one day playing said games.

People who really really love a game will pay full price. For everyone else they will only pay what they perceive is a worthwhile value. That is just the way it is. And if all games cost $60 and never went on sale I would have way less games than I do today. So in the end it's not just about how well a game is made, it's also how much of a deal the devs want to get to get the maximum # of sales. There is nothing wrong with getting a deal.
