WON.net Clarification

As most Half-Life players recall the WON.net East master server had some down time. I've gotten word from Ross Perez (WON PR guy) That it was not in fact a HD failure. Here you go:

The master server program "hung" and went into an unresponsive condition. The server was not responsive to normal requests for a power cycle.  The server was manually power cycled and the server came back up. [snip] This would not have been an apparent problem if the failover code in the Half-Life game itself was working properly.  WON.net does operate redundant master servers for Half-Life.

      all fine now. i got really good at swapping out motherboards from my case over the weekend. :)
