4A Games and THQ are happy to announce that the upcoming post-apocalyptic shooter Metro 2033 has gone gold and is off to be manufactured for the masses. As such, the game will hit its March 16, 2010 release date on the PC and Xbox 360.

Every good "gone gold" announcement should come with a new trailer, so here it is:

    well the fact that there is no hud and you have to use items on your character is interesting. Plus its based on a russian novel. As far as videogames go i would say its fairly unique.

      Stalker you had to use itens on your character and Far Cry 2 was based on Russian Novel. I guess this does both
