Bungie has released a new Halo: Reach trailer giving an early look at what awaits players in the Xbox 360 exclusive's multiplayer beta--which is slated to begin on May 3--with ninety seconds of thrills, chills and kills from the alpha build.

While Halo: Reach isn't due out until this fall, our Garnett's already had a gander at the squad-based prequel and an eight-minute 'ViDoc' offered a peek behind the scenes.

  Looks like more of the same to me... Halo is quite long in the tooth at this point. Not enough new ideas. The 30 seconds of fun thing was good for 2 games... but 5?

  ODST was the biggest pile of heaping trash that I have ever laid my hands on, given the asking price.
