Splinter Cell: Conviction Delay Used To Fix AI, Tuning

5

I've been lucky to get my hands-on Splinter Cell: Conviction two times already and it's shaping up to be a satisfying, fun experience. The low-point of my limited exposure, thus far, has been the enemy AI. Sam was a little too powerful and exploiting the AI a bit too easy. Hopefully, this is no longer the case.

Speaking with CVG, designer Patrick Redding explained that the extra time granted by the game's most recent delay--pushing it out of its February release window and being set for April 13th--has given the dev team time to "fixing issues with the AI, adding different challenge levels, giving the player the right level of difficulty at first."

Based on my time with the game, I can definitely see myself running through levels multiple times and cranking the difficulty up for a challenge.

LOL, like 2 months is enough to fix something as major as artificial intelligence. I smell typical marketing bullshit!
