Evening Reading: Vegas Baby!
The show traditionally starts with a Microsoft keynote Wednesday night. These used to be Bill Gates' baby and now Steve Ballmer fills that roll as MC for an hour or so of Microsoft stuff. Back at 1UP I'd live blog it but to be honest the game part only amounts to a small part of the show. If you're up for following the whole thing your favorite tech site will surely be all over it. If not, I'll have a report up immediately afterward to hit on any good gaming bits.
Thursday the show starts for real and I have an interview setup with Microsoft to talk about Live and get a look at their plans for the year. After that I'm off to spend the rest of the afternoon checking out Capcom's 2010 lineup. They bring most of their stuff to CES each year and it's pretty much the main event for video games.
And finally on Friday it's off to the show floor to see what I can see. With Kentia Hall still missing from the last E3, CES offers the next closest thing. I'll have a camera in hand as I go to survey the gamut of peripherals and other off the wall video game items only CES can bring out.
To keep you company until then, here's today's news:
