Evening Reading: Putting the Oughts to Bed
We've been posting our games to look forward to in 2010 today. I'll have mine coming tomorrow along with a collection of our resolutions for the New Year. Hope you'll take a moment to check them out and add to the conversation when time allows. Have a fun and safe New Year's Eve whatever your celebration plans.
I'll leave you with this great quote my friend Sterling tweeted earlier today: "The world isn't coming to an end. It's already tomorrow in Australia."

I've played about 10 matches so far.
Overall it is a beta for sure. There is a lot of potential to this game. The sound effects are nice when they work. I noticed that sometimes there were no sounds for lasers, player movement and other stuff. The enviroments were neat but some times tricky to navigate with a lot of clipping issues. Some trees I could plow down with my tank and other times, a little hill would flip him over. I felt a lot of times that my weapons were not really having that much effect. Getting a joystick to work is like rocket science sometimes. Be prepared to invest serious time to get a configuration that will work for you. The graphics are good, definatly better than previous Mech games but no where close to Crysis itself. I eagerly await future versions of this game and really hope for a single player campaign. Multiplayer is definatly the better ping wins.
