A triumvirate of interstellar threats will soon descend onto Xbox 360, beginning this week with Team17's Alien Breed Evolution: Episode 1 and Pieces' Puzzlegeddon.

The destructive duo of Xbox Live Arcade downloads arrive Wednesday, December 16, at 800 Microsoft Points ($10) each. Two other Alien Breed episodes are planned, with the trilogy also coming to PC and PlayStation 3 in 2010. Puzzlegeddon, meanwhile, is already available on PC, with a PlayStation 3 version due in the near future.

And just when you thought the holidays couldn't get any more chaotic, the onslaught continues December 23, with Gulti and Square Enix bringing alien war machines to real-world cities via 0 Day Attack on Earth at 1200 MS Points ($15).
