Evening Reading: Modern Honor
After allowing the Medal of Honor series to lie fallow long enough to get some separation from its last couple of outings EA held a golden opportunity to dramatically reenergize the franchise. Instead they chose to go what must seem to them ultra-safe following Modern Warfare's lead into the current era and putting their best multiplayer team (DICE) on the project.
What could they have done differently? Well, you know, off the top of my head I don't have an amazing game idea but hopefully they thought this thing through a little more than that. Suffice it to say, though, that there are a number of conflicts and potential scenarios both fictional and historic that could have been tapped into that wouldn't so immediately invoke thoughts of Modern Warfare.
The rest of the day sparked a few things to talk about as well:
- We've got Unreal Dev Kit Tutorial Videos on Fileshack
- Namco Announced the Bizarre Looking Muscle March for WiiWare
- Microsoft Wants to Sell You Avatar Pets on Live
- Sega is Bringing Classic Sonic to DS
Put your WoW knowledge to work. Future is looking for an Editor-in-Chief of the Official World of Warcraft Magazine.
Maybe they should get the resume from this guy who got all 986 achievements in WoW
In an interview with the Sporting News NBA star Ron Artest admits to drinking Hennessy during halftime of games
Drinking probably wasn't involved but the Italian police officer who wrecked their Lamborghini police car may need one now.
And since we have a pretty regular string of Google Wave invites going I couldn't help but include this on the street video asking people what Google Wave is
