I really don't know what's going on with Final Fantasy these days. Characters dressed like they're runway models? Cocoon citizens? Henry?!

I guess we'll unravel the mystery soon enough. It ships to Japan in December, and arrives here in spring 2010.

      The English version usually comes with added stuff, doesn't it? Like tweaks to the interface and battle system.

        Not generally. That happened once or twice, but given that it's coming only 3-5 months after, I doubt there'll be any changes besides the language.

      Same. I HATE... HATE.. H..A..T..E.. English dubs of anything that is Japanese, they can never ever give the same feeling to the character and intonation of the original VO. I would import the jap version if it had English subs and English menu.

      I heard they were "GOING" to put the Japanese VO on FF13 for PS3, but that has since been scrapped, anyone confirm? if so I'm going to cry.

        yeah, i saw a video interview on IGN where they said they weren't planning on including the japanese voice tracks. i think they said it wouldn't fit on the xbox version and so it wasn't worth going through the trouble.

        My understanding is that with the English version being 360/PS3, they didn't want to put effort into developing something that wouldn't be viable on both platforms, in this case, adding the Japanese language track along with the English. The only people who really know are SE though, and I doubt they'll ever come out and say "Sorry, we didn't give it to PS3 owners because it wouldn't be viable on the 360".

        I'm with you. I fucking HATE dubs so much. There is some amazing anime but dubbing it completely ruins everything.

      And they had a real lame excuse on why they do not put in the Japanese language track !
      According to them WE don't really want it ! As it seems I AM not WE ! And as I can see most of you too !

      WANT that Japanese soundtrack in,so don't tell me it doesn't fit on the Disk ! Why do we have blue ray now ?
