Update: Scratch tomorrow, it's actually available now. Thanks Vegtro.

The iPhone revamp of Revolution's classic adventure "Beneath a Steel Sky" is due in the iTunes App Store tomorrow--Friday, October 9---the developer has confirmed.

Priced at $4.99 / 3.99 euro / 2.99 pounds, "Beneath a Steel Sky - Remastered" updates the 1994 PC and Amiga original with new animations from original contributor and Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons, along with a new interface and hint systems.

Having only SAMPLED both games I would say that Steal Sky is better.
But a free adventure game is a free adventure game.

No shit, also has been on Cinemaware's page and with many Linux distributions, the point is that it's mobile now. Also you should support the developers so they re-release / port IT CAME FROM THE DESERT!!

Not everyone has an iphone and not everyone knows that they dont have go buy an iphone and then buy BaSS to be able to play it.

IT CAME FROM THE DESERT is free too. Giving money to apple is NOT going to make Cinemaware re-release a 1989 game that nobody but you cares about.

Apple only takes 30% of the price, Cinemaware gets the other 70%.

          Way to be a dick.

It is free, too, but the PC version looks like crap, and I can't get a decent Amiga emulator (for my Mac at least). I really want to see a remake with updated controls of this. I'm certainly not the only one caring about it, believe me. It's among Cinemaware's most popular games.

Yeah, but it looks like they just put a Photoshop blur filter over the backgrounds.

The screenshot function on the iPhone/ iPod doesn't accurately represent how it looks on the device.
