Classic Red Baron Games Released on GOG

6
Following the recent acquisition of the Red Baron rights by Mad Otter Games--a company founded by series creator Damon Slye--the company has now paired with Good Old Games and begun re-releasing Dynamix's classic World War I PC flight sims.

Available now, the $9.99 Red Baron Pack includes the first Red Baron and Red Baron 3D ("a heavily patched version of Red Baron 2") along with the Mission Builder. As with GOG's other offerings, it's all DRM-free and compatible with both XP and Vista.

I never played these, but I played the SHIT out of Dynamix's "Aces Over Europe" and "Aces of the Pacific" games which basically had the same menu system, etc. I'll definitely pick these up.

YES! I would really love to see an updated version of AOTP with the 1946 expansion! I played these soooo much as a kid.

I will be picking up these red barons for sure though. People will look at me weird for carrying around a joystick and setting up shop on my laptop in random places while screaming "DAMN YOU RED BARON!"

I played these as a kid. If you like flight sims, you owe it to yourself to try these.

Those 2 games really set the stage for the awesome missions found in games such as X-wing and Tie Fighter...

Aces Over Europe was great, so was Chuck Yeager's Air Combat."You bought the farm."

Don't forget about Battle of Britain and Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, awesome games I spent way too many hours on those campaigns. I can remember taking 30mins real time or more trying nurse my shot up HE-111 back across the channel to a friendly airbase, doing the delicate dance of trading altitude for distance.
