May want to add that Rock Band 2 got a hefty patch too

    http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3176224

Today's update adds Audition Mode to the game's Extras menu, which XNA Creators Club members can use to test songs from the Rock Band Network closed beta. It also adds the ability to sort your Rock Band library by the number of stars achieved -- a feature long requested by series fans. Along with all that, you should now be able to download songs from the in-game music store in the background rather than having to sit through the entire transfer.

In addition to those new features, Harmonix also fixed a few problems with the base game. The Ion Drum Rocker velocity sensitivity -- accidentally disabled in a previous update -- should function properly following the update, and the Xbox 360 version of the game now supports Microsoft's Lips wireless microphones. They've also tweaked chord hammer-ons and pull-offs so that they feel more like they do in The Beatles: Rock Band.

Nor will it be. That piece of shit console doesn't support game patching. Not that I'm bitter...

You can probably answer this question.

Does DLC that you dl for RB1 work for RB2 also?
I don't have my RB2 game atm, but bought a Stevie Ray Vaughan album for the first - so just wondering if it'll work when I get the game back.

Yeah the DLC works for both games. I can go back and play rock band 1 with all the DLC I've downloaded from rock band 2 or the other way around.

Everything that isn't Beatles (and 3 songs from the RB1 disk) works in RB2 if you pay the $5 and dump RB1 onto the drive.
