The game--set to feature a standard campaign and a large-scale multiplayer component--is scheduled for release this August on PC and Xbox 360.

just started the beta yesterday. the multiplayer is pretty involved and has a bit of a learning curve but its really well done.

the gameplay is a kind of mix of Tribes, Unreal 2 Multiplayer (XMP) and Crysis Multiplayer. The one thing I don't care for is the default running speed which is VERY slow. If you hit "sprint" your power armor kicks in after 5 seconds and you can run fast as hell but only for a limited distance with no ability to use your weapons. Your armor also has limited jump-jet functionality a-la XMP but drains your power reserve very quickly and it's slow to refill.
Graphics are pretty dodgy. Its typical for 3rd party devs to struggle with Unreal Tech visuals since it seems only Epic can get shit to run well AND look good. Overall I guess the game graphics serve the purpose. Animations do suck, I agree.
The game has a sort of requisition system and when your team captures more areas they can afford more deployables and vehicles.
Overall they have some cool ideas that hopefully can implemented properly before the game launches.
