Batman: Arkham Asylum Arrives August 25

Rocksteady's stealth-action take on Batman's adventures within the Arkham mental institution will hit North American retailers on August 25, publisher Eidos said today.

All three editions of Batman: Arkham Asylum--PC, PS3, Xbox 360--are due at that time.

The European edition will arrive a few days later, on August 28. The game was originally due in June, but was recently pushed back into the vague "late summer" timeframe.

  In a preview I read that the fighting system becomes random button mashing really fast. If thats true I hope theyll fix it.

    It's not just button mashing, because if you mash the punch button you'll get hit in the face yourself.
    
    Instead you have to time when you press the counter and evade buttons while mashing the punch button!

  The one on NES or SNES, can't remember which, was pretty good imo. ;)
  
  But yeah, this looks good. I don't even know how I managed to get pumped for this title, but I am.
