Signature Guitars in The Beatles: Rock Band

11
Harmonix has announced guitar controllers based on the Rickenbacker 325 favoured by John Lennon and George Harrison's Gretsch Duo Jet for The Beatles: Rock Band.

The replica controllers--compatible with all Rock Band games--will run you $99.99, and will round out your Beatles instrument lineup when coupled with the Hoffner bass controler and Beatles-inspired, Ludwig-branded drums included in the $250 The Beatles: Rock Band limited edition bundle.

Harmonix also unveiled The Beatles: Rock Band Pre-Order Club, where pre-orderers have access to "breaking news and exclusive behind the scenes elements"

All you'll need is love--and a small fortune for the authentic Beatles experience--when The Beatles: Rock Band arrives on September 9 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.

Well they didn't play video games either so there isn't really any need to wait for this news story to call them on authenticity if you want

It's $250 for the game with one guitar, mic, drums. If you want another guitar, it'll cost you probably around $50, as the $99 bundle comes with the game.

Do any of you people who are ragging on this realize that you are not really the Beatles. You are not really, ever, in ANY of these games playing guitar. It's an "experience", not actually being the Beatles.

You're so negative it's ridiculous. Remember: The world extends far past your little bubble.
