Publisher Ubisoft today revealed new details on Techland's Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood and provided the first in-engine look at the upcoming shooter prequel.

Due out this summer, the prequel to 2007's Call of Juarez will let players choose between Ray or Thomas in single-player, each with their own distinct characteristics. For example, one focuses on long-range combat, the other in close-range fighting.

Meanwhile, the multiplayer mode will pack objective team-based and death match modes, and a new bounty system that sees a player earn notoriety based on their kill count. The more kills a player has, the more you earn when you finally take them down.

Something tells me this is pseudo in-game.

it looks really good...maybe too good. Then again who would have thought Crysis really looked as good as their tech demos.

I never played the first one. I guess western just isn't "in" anymore, maybe because there are no rocket launchers, but the thought of a western themed game intrigues me.

The first CoJ was pretty awesome, I got an import copy from some small website, I think I remember it coming out in Europe waaay before North America. Graphics and slo-mo blood sprays were sweet, although the sneaking missions left much to be desired.

well is clearly says at the start of the video "in game footage" so ill assume they are telling the truth.
However the footage is probably rendered at very high detail + AA like a lot of trailers.
