Orcus Technologies Announced

17

Saw over at Redwood's/Stomped that Don "onethumb" MacAskill has gotten a new game company, Orcus Technologies off the ground, and that they plan on doing something with "huge online worlds." They have announced they are hiring, and that they have already hired Bruce Naylor, the guy who invented the BSP Tree (making games like Quake possible) and Matt Dillon (if you follow BSD/Linux, you know who it is). OneThumb, as you may know, used to work at Ritual. Thanks Mansa.

Holy shit, Bruce Naylor has got to be pretty fucking old by now. I thought BSP was invented in the mid 80s.

(It also made Doom and Descent possible, by the way)
