Lumines, Rez Developer Working on Wii Music Game

Atari today announced that Q Entertainment's Tetsuya Mizuguchi is developing a new music title for the Wii.

The new game is known only as "QJ," and is thought to be scheduled for a 2009 release.

Mizuguchi is best known as the creator behind Lumines, Rez, and Every Extend Extra. Atari also announced an Xbox 360 compilation pack of those three games and their respective DLC, known as Q^3 (Cubed), which will be sold for around $40.

If it's from Mizuguchi, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I also like to think he's best known as the creator of Space Channel 5, but that's just me.

Best known for Lumines for me. I could care less about Space Channel.

You know exactly what he means, don't be an idiot.

And I agree. Space Channel is the least interesting game he's been involved in.

No, Space Michael is one of the greatest characters in all of game-dom.

I for one really liked Space Channel 5.
Also, how is he an idiot, he's not the one who got the expression wrong

I like you Vincent, but you are clearly wrong. Space Channel 5 is a lot of things, but "least interesting" is not one of them.

Ninety-Nine Nights? Sega Rally? (Not saying it's bad, but it's hardly "interesting")

I didn't realize he had anything to do with Sega Rally.

I quite liked 99 Nights though.
