As Rockstar prepares the unleash the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV on December 2, the company has provided a number of new screenshots and sample movies from the video editor tool packed in the PC release of the open-world action game.

Rockstar stressed that all the videos were made with the tools included in the PC version. Once the game arrives, players will be able to share their created films via Rockstar's community website Social Club TV.

haha - too bad the gameplay is still ass...

Interesting that they are pushing this after nixxing live streams / you tube videos during the initial release window this Spring.

Yea, definitely the last time I purchase a GTA game for a console - PC release is always better.

What? Did we play the same game?

If dedgecko is thinking along the same lines I am, his beef is mostly with the driving. The driving physics are vastly different from other games of the series and the genre. I prefer the more arcade style of the previous games and of Saints Row, and so much of the game is dependant upon driving well that it was a bit of a deal breaker for me. GTA IV is a great game, but Saints Row 2 is going to see more replay in my systems.

I liked the driving. The city was awesome.

Yea, you might want to do some research on my gripes about GTA IV - the driving physics is not one of them, with the exception of perhaps the motorcycles + firehydrants.

I apologize for the mischaracterization, but at least we both agree the gameplay was ass.

I much prefer the realistic driving compared to SR arcadey physics. It was slightly difficult to adjust to at first, but after time it really grows on you.
