Xbox Live Having Troubles After Maintenance Outage

Xbox Live is experiencing intermittent outages in the wake of an all-day planned downtime back on Monday.

"Users will not be able to connect or log into Xbox LIVE," reads the official Xbox.com support page. "We are aware of the problem and working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," it continues.

Today's outage for Microsoft's online gaming service and marketplace adds to unexpected downtime that happened on Tuesday night.

The support page does not estimate how long the downtime will last.

  Everyone got a day credited for the scheduled downtime, if this persists I'm sure another day will be given.

  jesus, i love how people worry about being credited right away.. Oh my god..XBOX live is down for 30 minutes.. Now give us 2 weeks extra...Get a life people! You are either 12 years old or beyond cheap!

    Would MS give you an extra day of free service just for the heck of it? No, they'd expect you to renew or they'd pull it.. Why should they be given any latitude if the reciprical isn't expected?
