Enemy Territory: Quake Wars developer Splash Damage has always stated that a Tribes mod would be a good fit for the game's ski-friendly engine, and now a modding team is taking the next step. Though the following video represents early work, captured with a jittery FRAPS, the potential is exciting.

The project is currently in the early phases, with a public beta still "a while off." The team is initially planning to replicate a scaled-back version of the team-based multiplayer shooter, with a single armor class and simplified inventory stations.
