First Punisher: No Mercy Screenshots Released

The first screenshots from Zen Studios' downloadable PlayStation shooter The Punisher: No Mercy have been unveiled over at the official PlayStation.Blog.

Inspired by Marvel Comics' The Punisher character, the Unreal Engine 3-powered shooter will sport both single and multiplayer gameplay. No release date has been announced.

I wish they'd just let Volition crank out another Punisher game. It wasn't well received but I liked it a lot. Played through it at least 3 or 4 times.

  i thought it was pretty good as well. seems like a sequel could have ironed out all the kinks. too bad, now we get this which looks like a generic shooter with "the punisher" stamped on it.

  The Punisher is really the only comic I read as a kid, so I'm down with having more Punisher games, but this sounds like a cheap DM/TDM only game (single player with bots). I hope there's an ACTUAL single player campaign, but I'm not holding my breath.
