Rockstar San Diego's oft-postponed racer Midnight Club: Los Angeles (PS3, 360) has suffered yet another delay, publisher Take-Two Interactive announced today.

Once slated to arrive on October 7, the game's release has now been pushed until October 21. In a conference call today, Take-Two CFO Lainie Goldstein explained that the delay was due to marketing reasons.

In related news, a new trailer for the latest Midnight Club game was released today as well, meant to highlight the many customization options available to virtual gearheads.

Same day as Fable 2? Is that a good idea? I meant I love the Midnight Club games, but compared to a Molyneux game like Fable I would much rather go with Fable... Thank God Facebreaker sucks or I would be very poor this month.

Yeah, it's not even a decision for me. Fable 2. Period.

Most of the people who are going to buy Midnight Club over the course of its lifetime probably don't care that it comes out on the same day as Fable. The majority of the purchasers of that game probably 1) don't care about release dates and 2) don't care about Fable. I doubt it will affect their sales all that much.
