        It's mainly composed of scales. I never said they were not talented, I just said its a bunch of scales over and over and it is. I mean tons of metal bands use scales over and over but this nu-metal stuff sounds pretty terrible. Needs more variety.

        you can call them metalcore, but they're really not nu-metal at all. i don't listen to a single other band similar to them, i just respect/like the band because what they play is extremely technical (i don't see how you can doubt that if you listened to them).
