How are you gentlemen? Figured we could make room for some fresh chatting. The general topic of course will likely be Diablo 3, but there's still plenty of other gaming to be had. For weekend content, among other things we've got the week's Release List and then the latest installment of the Gibson-Goldstein Index. Might a free copy of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (with guitar) sound excellent? Then perhaps you should form an air band ?

    They made the combat more interesting and easier to control at the same time; the art direction is goth throw up; and Cain wants you to stay a while and listen! Can't think of much else they could've done right.

  can someone explain how the skills will work? i understand you click everything, to move, to hit. did they say that scrolling the mousewheel enabled different skills? click, scroll, click?
  or can you hit say 1-4 keys and get the same effect?

    you can bind actions to keys 1-4 as well as right click and left click. I think the scroll wheel was swapping through skill "sets" for the left and right mouse clicks.

  I downloaded the 807 MB version of the gameplay footage from Blizzard today. That shit took For-Ever, but it was worth it. My 4-year-old son watched the whole thing with me. When it was done, the first thing he said was Again, so we sat there and watched it a couple of more times.

      yeah I'm not sure what the 300mb difference is. Apparently the content is exactly the same.

        Better quality. The 800mb one is 1280x720. The 500mb is... something smaller, not sure but it's not 720. The Blizzard torrent is working now and although a bit slow, I left it downloading before leaving my house. It might be available via direct dl from somewhere by now.

        oops, wrong. The 500mb one is 1280x720. Got them side by side and there doesn't appear to be much difference quality wise. They're both xvid but have different audio formats so that's where the size difference must come in. 500mb ftw.

    I had to secretly watch with sound off cause we don't allow our kids to see this kind of material at their age (1,2 and 6). : (
    
    Replayed with sub woofer a few notches up once they were in bed though. : )
