Champions Online Screens Charge Psychic Shields

Developer Cryptic Studios today unveiled three new screenshots for its upcoming superhero MMO Champions Online, which the company asserts will offer "near-infinte" customization options.

Champions Online is in development for PCs and unspecified consoles, and due for release in the spring of 2009.

  I'm certainly looking forward to it. Even if it's just a rather straightforward evolution of CoH I'll give it a whirl.

    actually I think it is based off the campaign setting from Hero System which was around long before City of Heroes. If they have some how ported that system to a videogame it could be something special.

      From what I gather, it will be teh setting, but not the system, which is sad, I would have loved to see the system ported, I would play that game for a long time.
