Morning Discussion

Howdy Shackers. You know what we have today? Videos. Lots of videos. The Batman fans in the audience should be pretty excited to see this footage of Nightwing, or if you want a more serious take on your nighttime adventures then there's this video of Alone in the Dark for the Wii. We could even continue on the theme this Dark Side focused Star Wars: Force Unleashed video. Then we pull a 180' and give you this Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced 2 video, with more color than you can shake a cat at. Not that Shacknews advocates cat shaking. Just Shacking.

What. The gameplay far outweighs the cinematics even midway through Act 2.

this will be one of the things that people complain about, since there is so little otherwise to whine over.

There's a lot of things I find silly, like being camouflaged, kneeling against a wall, and PMC guy walks right next to me. How could he not see me!?

Also have you seen their ridiculous method of doing the low crawl? lol the worm.

Movement would definitely attract more attention than not being the right color up against a wall, from a distance. But hey, if it weren't for these things the game would be impossible. :)

I've finally gotten to a point in my life where I don't need to kill everything I see in a video game, at least for a little while (Thanks GTA4!). I think it's a perfect time to launch a MGS game.

The only thing that bugs me about the game is that they keep switching out one of my goddamn weapons for the "Operator" handgun during cutscenes, which resulted in me killing, rather than stunning two more people because I didn't realize it'd switched my gun.

A side note about Snake's age... I thought this game was far in the future. I was wondering how Meyrl stayed so young. I never knew until the intro cinematic that Snake was aging prematurely, lol.

So is this why Solidus looked old? Wasn't he the same age as Liquid and Solid?

Also has anyone else found any dolls? I just found the Frog Soldier Doll. I'm assuming there will be more throughout the game... It's in that Palace Garage thing where Meyrl's Foxhound group does their SOP silliness.
