Morning Discussion
Let's talk about games. Mass Effect on the PC seems to have gotten a nice coat of polish since it's 360 release, so Nick talked to developer Demiurge about the game and porting in general. Also, we followed up with yesterday's iPhone game announcement with some actual gameplay video to give you an idea what you're in for. And Take-Two talked DLC, giving the GTA 4 publisher's thoughts on added content.

Gah! Yesterday I had the game in my hand!
I went over to Target during my lunch break to see if it was available. This would be the same Target where I almost aquired GTA4 early as well. Anyway, I asked Clerk#1 the game was available and the he said "We have it in back but I dont know if it's suppose to be sold yet". Clerk#2 jumped in "Hrm, wait...I think its ok--let me check the system. Oh, the release date is the 8th according to this thing". Clerk#1 grabs the weekly ad and says, "Hrm, the ad says the 12th though". Clerk#2 looks at me and can tell I just might piss my pants in excitment, "Let me go grab one and we'll see what happens". I smile and say, "Hey--lets go with the system and forget the ad right?!". They laugh and shrug as they didnt really seem to care either way. Clerk#2 comes back with the game in hand (OMG!). Unlike the GTA4 situation I actually got to touch this one. Man it looked sweeeeet. As she rang the game up the register dings "$0.00".

This happened to me with a copy of some game at Circuit City. Sticker said $15 bucks and I was fine with that but it rang up as $5. However they didn't discount some other item, I think my APC, and I went back to correct it but then the price was below my original estimate and then I realized I got the game for $5 bucks.
