Darksiders puts players in the boots of War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The game's distinct art style comes courtesy of Vigil Games' creative director and co-founder Joe Madureira, who previously worked as a penciller on several Marvel comic books including the X-Men.

A new developer diary video detailing the game's art direction and some in-game footage is viewable below. Registered users can use the HD Stream.
