So the NHL game is pretty damn good, I just have never seen so many bad calls in one game let alone one period.
Love how this series has been close and exciting nearly every game.-

Congrats Red Wings. They played better in the series and deserved to win.
Having said that, I'm still in love with the Pens. Obviously I wanted them to win, but they had an incredible season and I have no doubt that they will be back there very, very soon. I hope they can keep Hossa and Malone. I had a shit-ton of fun watching them this season.

So, which Cup winning goal is worse? Tonight's or last years?
Refresher - 3rd Ducks goal of game 5
http://video.google.ca/videosearch?hl=en&q=ducks%20cup%20winning%20goal&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wv#q=ducks%20cup%20game%205&hl=en&sitesearch=-
If you consider no other factors and just look at the goal itself, that Ducks goal was probably worse, only because it wasn't even a shot on goal. The goal tonight was a legit shot on goal that the goalie just lost track of.
Of course, last year's game turned out to be a blow-out and tonight's game was tight, so in that respect the weak goal tonight was much worse.-
I think that can go the other way too. In this clip you have a hectic scene around the net and they get a terrible friendly fire deflection, but it was part of the other team attacking with the puck. In tonight's game sure it was a direct shot, but it was just another one of a hundred pucks shot straight at Fleury which was stopped. He just didn't have a hold on the puck. It was (or was damn near) sitting STILL on the ice, and 100% of the energy that moved it into the net came from him. That one from last year was at least flying off an opposing stick before bouncing off a friendly one.

Another extremely good game, but this isn't what I wanted. If the Wings were going to win, I would have rather seen it on their home ice in game 5 or a more exciting game 7 so everybody could go nuts together. Though obviously a Pens victory in game 7 would have been best, but could not have been at home.
