Well, Joust is hot too. I would
say I'm also excited about the Diablo 3 stuff, but I'm sure it is still another 2 years
from release at least. :(

I hope they make it all gritty. Like the tale of a schizophrenic man with jaundice and his addiction to pain killers. he sees ghosts no matter where he goes and the only way he can escape from them is to drown his mind in the sweet release of pain killers. he spends the entire movie thinking they are real and trying to convince everyone that they are but nobody believes him because he's a drug addict.
then one day he meets a similarly jaundiced woman who loves him for who he is, even though he is kind of a mess. she doesn't believe him about the ghosts until one day, in a desperate attempt to prove to her he's not crazy he crushes a pain pill and mixes it into her drink and she's able to see the ghosts too!
it turns out they're both chosen ones and have to live out the rest of their lives riding the world of the dead who got left behind! only they can see the ghosts, and only they can save the world from them. they are the chosen ones. they only have each other. they are... the pac men.-
maybe it could be a good ol slap stick comedy

how would they "griity" up power pellets that let him consume the ghosts, fending them off if but for a few moments?

The power pellets are obviously some kind of potent drug and when he uses em, he goes into a rage. Tears shit in half. Hulk style.
