ATTN CISCO dudes:

What's the least expensive router or switch that I can get that will support a span port? Something used or older is fine. Ebay is good.

  pretty much any catalyst switch will, if it doesn't that means it has a IOS before 12.0 and that is just lolz

  if you are just doing it to sniff traffic I recommend setting up syslogging to a local server.
