Fuck yes. The one with the jump packs is making me all a quiver. I haven't paid any attention to CoH, so the the gorgeousness of the engine is new to me.

in my opinion, if this game is anything like CoH, the gameplay mechanics will blow SC2 away

yeah I can see myself playing it more than SC2. Obviously SC2 is going to be the bigger success but I don't see why DoW2 couldn't thrive as well. They'll be pretty different games if their previous offerings are anything to go by.

i think CoH has given relic a pretty solid following. obviously not nearly as strong as SC2 but strong enough to hold its own

what impresses me is that its numbers have actually gone up since I used to play last year. The peak concurrent online users back then was ~2000 players and now it's well above 7000. It averages more players a night than TF2.

That's still a joke compared to bnet. Have the finally got an automatch system comparable to B.net's?

yeah pretty dumb they didn't have it in there. Now that Relic Online is up to par feature wise I'm sure that DoW2 will build on it.

I'm reinstalling CoH after seeing these pictures (I accidentally uninstalled CoH when I deleted the OF beta. GJ making the OF uninstaller delete the normal game :\). Time to download a gazillion patches

      I can't wait for DoW2

No and I think I just got to it. Guess I'll go play Halo for a while...

I thought this was going to be a lot worse since previously I would download 2-3 patches everytime logged on once every few months. I installed the 1.4 patch and now it's giving me the huge one.

I checked fileshack, 1.75 gigs. It does allow you to play against OF owners though. So it's not like it's just balance changes and bug fixes.

I'm kinda torn about the non-linear campaigns. They offer more replay and variety, but the linear campaigns tell a better story.
