Two Worlds: The Temptation Announced

SouthPeak Games today announced the development of action-RPG Two Worlds: The Temptation (PC, X360), aimed for release in the fall. A handful of screenshots of the upcoming title were also released.

A sequel to Reality Pump's 2007 RPG, The Temptation takes place shortly after the events of the first game in the region of Eastern Antaloor, and hosts improvements and loads of new content. The game is said to feature more intricate missions, improved voiceovers, completely revamped combat and a new graphics engine.

"We first envisioned The Temptation as an expansion to the original," said Reality Pump chief developer Miroslaw Dymek. "However, as we started creating the story and reworking almost every aspect of the game, we realized that we were well on our way to crafting a fully-fledged sequel."

Added SouthPeak Games CEO Melanie Mroz, "The team at Reality Pump has taken to heart all the comments made by the players and will incorporate massive improvements that are sure to please and surprise everyone."

Imagine Oblivion's (or Gothic 3's, although I wasn't a huge fan) large, typical fantasy world, only everything else sucks. It's ugly, the gameplay is terrible, the level advancement system is terrible, the story is poorly written, the voices poorly acted, the characters poorly animated, etc.

Yeah. I watched my roommate played the demo. It was ass-city. With that, I don't think it's possible for them to release a much better game a mere year later. Unless, of course, they started developing it in 1997.
